WORSHIP   PASTOR

LeaveAMark Church in Columbus, OH is in search of their next Worship Pastor to lead their three weekend contemporary services. They are looking for a Worship Pastor to craft an engaging worship experience during all worship services at LeaveAMark through the building of a team and a culture of excellence that exalts Christ in all things.

What you’ll be doing:
– Create, plan and produce worship services
– Lead worship services
– Organize, schedule, lead and grow the Worship Team
– Organize, schedule, lead and grow the Media Team
– Build a team atmosphere that both recruits and grows team members (both staff and volunteers)
– Steward the worship and media budgets

Skills you need to have:
– Heart of a pastor
– Gifted leader and musician
– At least 5 years experience on staff at a church
– Love crafting life-changing worship experiences
– Team-building skills
– Proficient in Planning Center Online, ProPresenter, video editing, guitar or piano, vocals, and teaching/leading players and singers.
– Bachelors degree in music or ministry-related field

Centrally located in Ohio, Columbus is an excellent place to live and raise a family. There is a great balance between city life and natural areas. The city is centered around a beautiful downtown which is “next door” to the college campus of “The” Ohio State University. Columbus is home to one of the country’s top zoos and is also known for having one of the best municipal park systems in the country, comprised of 16 parks spread over an area of 24,000 acres. Great shopping, restaurants, and entertainment are also plentiful throughout the Columbus area.

CHILDREN'S   DIRECTOR

The Role Will:

Oversee and organize children’s ministry at LeaveAMark.

Develop and oversee successful implementation of policies and processes.

Formulate children’s ministry facility standards for existing and future buildings.

Help develop integrated training processes for nursery, preschool, kids, and special needs ministry leaders and Dream Team members.

Work closely with ministry leaders at each service and analyze effectiveness of programming and adjust as needed.

Lead and build team to execute all aspects of children’s ministry for weekend services.

Recruit, develop, and train high quality leaders for staff and Dream Team roles.

Consistently communicate with key leaders and parents.

Develop healthy community among parents and equip parents for discipleship in their homes through the weekend experience and small group life.

Manage ministry budgets effectively.

Help develop and maintain all security standards.

Track growth for future development.

Oversee and develop the weekend experience for all children.

Oversee special event planning that targets young families.

Oversee and develop all internal and external communication that represents LeaveAMark Kids.

Maintain strong communication and relationship with Executive Pastor and Senior Pastor to ensure the vision of the LeaveAMark is implemented in all aspects of family ministry.

Have Supervisor Responsibilities : Part-time Preschool Ministry Director (potentially) and all LeaveAMark Kids Volunteers.

What You Bring:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in ministry, education, or a related field preferred, or at least 3 years high-level leadership experience in children or family ministry.

Must be proficient with (or able to become so within 6 weeks of being hired)
ProPresenter, Church Community Builder Church Management Software and Check-in system, and Social Media Platforms.
