CHILDREN'S   DIRECTOR

The Role Will:

Oversee and organize the children’s ministry at LeaveAMark.

Develop and oversee successful implementation of policies and processes.

Formulate children’s ministry facility standards for existing and future buildings.

Help develop integrated training processes for nursery, preschool, kids, and special needs ministry leaders and Dream Team members.

Work closely with ministry leaders at each service and analyze effectiveness of programming and adjust as needed.

Lead and build team to execute all aspects of children’s ministry for weekend services.

Recruit, develop, and train high quality leaders for staff and Dream Team roles.

Consistently communicate with key leaders and parents.

Develop healthy community among parents and equip parents for discipleship in their homes through the weekend experience and small group life.

Manage ministry budgets effectively.

Help develop and maintain all security standards.

Track growth for future development.

Oversee and develop the weekend experience for all children.

Oversee special event planning that targets young families.

Oversee and develop all internal and external communication that represents LeaveAMark Kids.

Maintain strong communication and relationship with Executive Pastor and Senior Pastor to ensure the vision of the LeaveAMark is implemented in all aspects of family ministry.

Have Supervisor Responsibilities : Part-time Preschool Ministry Director (potentially) and all LeaveAMark Kids Volunteers.

What You Bring:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in ministry, education, or a related field preferred, or at least 3 years high-level leadership experience in children or family ministry.

Must be proficient with (or able to become so within 6 weeks of being hired)
ProPresenter, Church Community Builder Church Management Software and Check-in system, and Social Media Platforms.
